“This not-so-distant relative of the infamously homely yet unforgettable pile jacket we made in the '70s just got retrofied again: We've returned to the higher-loft pile that made the original a cult favorite. It's as perfectly suited for the mountains as it is for dropping another engine into an irreplaceable VW bus. The vertical chest pocket will hold glacier glasses or a spare car key.
