“The insulation of choice for those times when your belaying/climbing ratio is weighted toward the former. It fits over everything, shell and all, so you don't have to undress to add another layer. It's also highly water-resistant and quick to dry, thanks to the Deluge DWR treatment. The lightweight synthetic insulation keeps you warm, even in a downpour. The high collar, when zipped, insulates your face. Details: insulated handwarmer pockets, a zippered chest pocket and inside mesh bags for drying gloves. Includes a stuff sack. Imported. FABRIC: 1.5-oz. 30-denier high-tenacity polyester ripstop; Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Insulation: 5.3-oz. Polarguard® 3D in the body; 4-oz. Polarguard 3D in the sleeves. Lining: 1.6-oz. microdenier ripstop polyester; DWR finish” (Patagonia, Winter 2002).
Please carefully review product descriptions, photos, and measurements before purchasing to ensure a proper fit and satisfaction. All orders are shipped in 100% compostable packaging and include a free weatherproof Old School Outdoor sticker. Please note that items for sale are vintage/pre-owned in nature, with most being previously worn. Each garment is carefully inspected during the listing process for imperfections/flaws which are then photographed and/or noted in the item's description. See the “Condition Ratings” tab for more information.
Please refer to the measurements included in the description to ensure a proper fit, as vintage sizing frequently differs slightly from modern sizing. Sizes listed in the product title are based on the “best fits a” size rather than the tag size. To ensure a proper fit, we strongly recommend comparing the provided measurements to a similar garment of your own that fits to your liking. For more information, visit the “How to Measure” tab.
