“We originally designed Stand Ups for rock climbing, with roomy, high-cut legs that wouldn't bind up as we moved on vertical terrain. The next generation of this classic offers an option to those who prefer their short legs long. Long Stand Ups have a 9" inseam and a composed fit through the hips. They are every bit as tough as the shorter version, and their double-layer seat makes the famous Velcro®-closing, rear-end pockets. An extra hip pocket holds a wallet. Made from rugged 8-oz. pigment-dyed cotton canvas (100% organic), garment-washed. Shrinkage is 3%. Imported” (Patagonia, Spring 1998).
