Notes: An extremely rare first generation vintage Patagonia Chamonix Wool Guide Sweater from the 1970s/1980s in excellent lightly worn preowned condition with minor signs of wear including two small snags around the collar as seen in photo 3. Made of 100% heavyweight rib-knit wool.

“Our 100% wool sweater is styled after the classic French ski and mountain guide design. The soft, heavy weave is tightly knit together rather than sewn. The Guide Sweater features a crew neck and raglan sleeves, and is useful for the winter streets as well as the mountains” (Great Pacific Iron Works, 1982).
