“When the mercury plummets and the December sun sets on "just a quick little outing," reach for this improved Micro Puff. The new shell fabric is lighter but just as durable, windproof and water-repellent; the insulation is also lighter and exceptionally warm, yet more compressible. The attached Optipull hood fits under a helmet and adjusts for both volume and face circumfer-ence. Pocketing: two handwarmers (one doubles as a stuff sack), one interior mesh for drying hat or gloves, and one interior zippered stash. Imported” (Patagonia, F/W 2005).
