Notes: A rare vintage Patagonia Pile-Lined Work Range Coat from F/W 1996 in excellent lightly worn preowned condition with minor signs of wear. Fits oversized. Retailed for $190 in 1996 (Approx. $380 in 1/2024).
“This coat is somewhat like a grizzly dressed up in a human-being suit. Its rough-hewn looks evoke a certain dignity, but when it comes down to real work, it's strong and wears tough. We make it technical: triple-needle seam stitching; metal stud buttons; double-layered cuffs lined with microfleece; Y-Joint'' sleeves and pre-bent elbows to keep motions fluid. The textured nylon shell blends Cordura® with Supplex® nylon for excellent tear strength and pliancy. Compared to heavy cottons, this coat is surprisingly light; you can move and work in it easily. Its durable water repellent (DWR) finish resists damp and stains. For all-day warmth the hip-length coat is lined with hefty, 4-inch fleece printed in a jacquard pattern. Its inner zip chest pocket is roomy enough for an airline ticket. Imported” (Patagonia, Fall 1996).
