Wear them under fleece, under shells, on a summit or out to sea. Layer the vest under the jacket. The possibilities are endless. The highly compressible Puffballs have slick 1.3-oz., 30-denier ripstop nylon shells and linings that move freely over layers and under shells. Their soft wind-resistant nylon shells have a DWR (durable water repellent) finish which makes them suitable for days of blustery winds or light precipitation. Unlike down, the Pullballs' synthetic insulation dries quickly so they recover their loft even after getting soaked. Designed for more extensive outerwear applications, the Jacket's insulation is a bit loftier and warmer than the Vest's. All Puffballs compress into their own pockets.
