Notes: A rare vintage Patagonia Synchilla Sweater from F/W 1988 in great preowned vintage condition with signs of normal wear including a faint stain area on the bottom-back-left of the garment. Made of 100% heavyweight polyester Synchilla fleece exclusive of trim.
“Believe it or not, this sweater is functional. The outrageous trim you see at the neck, around the zipper and at the pockets is made of Supplex nylon. Supplex feels a lot like cotton and it stands up well, which means the collar stands up and away from your neck when the zipper is open. (It’s lined in Synchilla.) The zipper is much longer than a regular pullover’s zipper. That’s because a regular pullover zipper is only made large enough to accommodate the average head. Ours is made to give you as much ventilation as you need. The Sweater is excellent for cross-country labors - you can throw your keys and wax in the zippered, hand-warmer pockets - and zip and unzip the front depending on your level of exertion. Made in USA” (Patagonia, Spring 1988).
Please carefully review product descriptions, photos, and measurements before purchasing to ensure a proper fit and satisfaction. Please note that items for sale are vintage/pre-owned in nature, with most being previously worn. Each garment is carefully inspected during the listing process for imperfections/flaws which are then photographed and/or noted in the item's description. See the “Condition Ratings” tab for more information.
Please refer to the measurements included in the description to ensure a proper fit, as vintage sizing frequently differs slightly from modern sizing. Sizes listed in the product title are based on the “best fits a” size rather than the tag size. To ensure a proper fit, we strongly recommend comparing the provided measurements to a similar garment of your own that fits to your liking. For more information, visit the “How to Measure” tab.
