Notes: An extremely rare and iconic vintage Patagonia Made In The U.S.A. Pile Cardigan from the early 1980s in excellent preowned condition for its age with minor signs of wear. Fits small.
“Made of the same 13-ounce pile as the Jacket, the Pile Cardigan is the cast-iron skillet of pile clothing: it never lets you down and it rarely wears out. Straight cut with no ribbing at the waist, this jacket can be tucked into pile pants or waders: Y-Joint" sleeves keep it tucked in when the arms are raised. The sleeves are unadorned with ribbing or trim to keep them fast drying. The chest pocket is nylon, handwarmer pockets are fast drying, brushed polyester to minimize bulk. A full-length zipper provides any degree of ventilation desired. Made in USA” (Patagonia, Fall 1986).
