“Deep Wading Jacket our shorter, deep-wading version of the SST now has improved, reversed StretchCoat® gusseted cuffs and two new D-rings to attach floatant and accessories. Its soft, supple, 2 layer, 50-denier ripstop nylon shell is bonded to a waterproof/breathable Storm-level protection barrier with an advanced Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Chest pockets stow fly boxes; built-in side-entry pockets warm hands. The jacket is cut full to wear over layers and a fully loaded vest. Weatherproof details include a storm-guttered, double-slider front zipper and dual snaps at the hem for vest access. Houdini® drawcords operate the full visibility hood and seal the waist. A back D-ring secures a net. Imported” (Patagonia, Spring 2002).
