Notes: An extremely rare vintage Patagonia Reversible Pile Glissade Cardigan from Fall 1992 excellent very lightly worn preowned vintage condition.
“The Glissades' reversibility has earned them an honored spot in our standard outfit for travel. How many times, in an unfamiliar place, has it started out the perfect bluebird day - to end up, unexpectedly, snowing sideways? Glissades are soft and flexible with a broad temperature range. Warm, quarter-inch pile on one side and 1.5-oz. ripstop nylon on the other can be reversed in the face of different weather and temperatures. Because the pile's knit is air-permeable, when the Glissades are turned pile-side out they're not too warm to wear as sweaters. Wearing them this way, ripstop-side in, provides slippery ease over other layers. When worn ripstop-side out the Glissades are warmer: the pile traps warm air in its fleece, and the shell provides protection against wind and light drizzle” (Patagonia, Fall 1993).
