“We've varied the front placket on our Basic Sweatshirt over the years; it lets our designers express themselves. But little else about this completely functional warm-up has changed. It's simply one of the most versatile and durable pieces of lightweight insulation to be found. The Sweatshirt is made from a fine-knit jersey blend of cotton (76%), for softness and graceful aging, and just enough polyester (24%) to give it shape and stability. The inside brushed fleece evokes contented groans when worn next to the skin. It layers easily over running clothes or another shirt. The double-layer knit collar falls around your neck with a gentle fold. Cuffs and waistband are a 2' × 2" rib, knit with Lycra®. All seams are cover-stitched. Allow for 5% shrinkage.
