Notes: A rare vintage Patagonia Chamonix Wool Sweater from F/W 1990 in great preowned condition with signs of normal wear. There are two spots where the stitching/knit has come undone- one on the right elbow and one on the back of the left-cuff. Made of 100% heavyweight rib-knit wool.
“Yvon bought the original prototype of this sweater years ago while climbing in Chamonix, France. When it wore out, we couldn’t find anything but jive ski sweaters or smelly, itchy, oiled ragg wools, so we simply copied the old standby that guides have been wearing for generations. This non-oiled sweater is tightly knitted with heavy, 100%-wool yarns for luxurious warmth and superior durability. Knitted on sleeves (rather than sewn) assure a perfect fit. Dry clean only.
