Notes: In great preowned vintage condition for its age with signs of normal wear. The original lightweight cotton Patagonia Diamond Quilt Snap-T Pullover that inspired the 2013 Legacy Collection model. Fits small.

“As every early American woman knew, quilting is a unique way to add insulaton without adding weight. The Diamond Quilt Pullover is warm, but it's much lighter than most wool or wool blends because it's made of cotton/polyester. It's comfortable next to the skin as super-insulating underwear or by itself as a sweatshirt. The collar is two layers deep to give it substance; all seams are cover-stitched; plastic snaps set in a taffeta placket open for ventilation or snap shut all the way to the top of the turtleneck. The cuffs and waistband are 1' x 1" rib knit. We've used it skiing under an Alpine or Featherweight Shell, bicycling, and as a general purpose warm-up. The fabric weighs only 12 ounces per-square-yard, which means each garment weighs less than a large steak” (Patagonia, Spring 1987).
