“When they skied Sun Valley in the forties, women wore jackets that implied a western but not cowgirl life. Those jackets inspired our Ultra-Plush. It’s made from a lush, wool-like velour that is ultra thick and knit with dense “standing” fibers. At 10 ounces per square yard, it’s a fraction lighter than Synchilla® fleece and has the dimensional stability of a peacoat or stadium coat (rather than athletic stretch). The fleece is yarn-dyed, not printed, and it stays plush and silky even after washings. Trim fit; inside pocket; Supplex® nylon trim. Made in USA” (Patagonia, Fall 1998).
