Baby Retro is a total-package insulating layer- the best such system ever developed for wet conditions. The inner surface is a Capilene® mesh that quickly wicks moisture away from the body into the outer layer (quarter-inch polyester pile). Using brushed mesh makes for a soft garment and its small holes trap warm air. Baby Retro's furry side is turned out so that moisture wicks through the Capilene fibers to the tips of the pile's outer hairs where it can evaporate.
